This is Episode 2 in our ‘How To Drive Conversions’ series. In our post this week, we discuss and look into driving conversions through BLOG POSTS.
As we said last week, a conversion is a click on the content that has an embedded URL from an Infiltrend campaign. The URL is what the influencer will receive when accepting to work on a campaign created by a brand.
So this week we look at increasing exposure and clicks through blog posts. It is quite straightforward but we just want to give you some creative ideas.
Once an influencer has accepted to work on a campaign and has received the short URL, they may choose to write a blog post associated with that campaign.
This is where the influencer needs to think about where to add the URL shortener (associated with that campaign). It needs to be embedded into a sentence of the text on your blog post and/or into a photo or image that has been added to the post. Remember any clicks generated result in a conversion.
If you add the URL shortener to the text, be sure to add it somewhere where you are giving an explanation or where your sentence almost sounds like it could be a CTA. The location, i.e. where you embed the link in the text, needs to make sense. This will encourage the reader to click. Do not bombard the reader; so don’t add this link to every single sentence.
Whether you add it to a sentence or not, also embed the link into any images/photos associated with the post. As an alternative, under an image, you may chose to write a brief description and if this is the case, then be sure to embed the link into the description.
Blog post ideas when working on campaigns for Infiltrend may include:
- Weekly or daily posts about top new places to visit, product to buy and food to try – Feature an Infiltrend campaign here in one of these posts;
- Blog post dedicated to a particular product you have tried or want to try- Talk about and product that you are working on through an Infiltrend campaign;
- Gift ideas post – Recommend a place or product from an Infiltrend campaign as part of a gift list discovery post.
