Episode 2 – Testing Case Studies

Episode 2 in our series of Case Studies is once again based on a fictional situation.

Our latest brand is a clothing & accessories company aimed that makes clothes for children. They want to drive attention to their online store and feel that working with influencers & bloggers allows them to speak to customers in different locations, without actually being there. This, therefore, gives them growth opportunities. Our brand is aptly named ‘Kid Me Not’.

The brand is relatively well-known however their marketing team is pretty small. They found Infiltrend very user-friendly and easy to understand what to do next. Through Infiltrend, they able to create multiple campaigns which is important for them since they want to create campaigns per product or per need.  Infiltrend gives them the flexibility of managing & deciding their own budgets for each campaign.

The Brand - Kid Me Not

We are a growing brand with a not so large marketing team. Our time is limited but we want to grow brand awareness in different markets. By working with influencers & bloggers, we get to find new audiences in different locations all through the comfort of our own office. Our customers are bombarded by marketing. Influencers, so far, seem to have a more organic conversation with them.

Infiltrend makes it easy to understand Influencer Marketing & to find and discover new influencers.

The aim of this campaign is to gain brand awareness. We will ask the influencers to simply speak about our brand being a kid’s fashion brand. We have a wide range of stocks & sizes and all our clothes are made from organic materials. We have sent images of our logos and some cool static images of our website. However, we encourage the chosen influencers to use their own skills. We also ask to use the hashtag #organickiddies wherever applicable.

Campaign Structure

The campaign was set up as a Pay Per Click campaign since the aim is to drive awareness about the brand and their website.

They have decided to work with 6 influencers who range from a microblogger to an influencer with 10k followers on FB & Instgaram (combined). They were selected since they each reach a different audience and have an interesting style of content creation but are all in the line of blogging about kids & lifestyle. .

The brand would love for the influencers to take some cool screen shots or photos of the website to use across their profiles. They may also use the images that the brand has uploaded.

We spoke to three Influencers.

The Influencers – how do they plan to share this?

The Micro Blogger

I am a micro-blogger with a small audience. I have been at it for a year now and my audience, whilst small, is consistent. I love this brand and have heard of it before. I will use the logo image they provided us with but take some cool photos too. They have been kind enough to send me an outfit for my child through Infiltrend. Therefore I will take some outfit posts too.

I will write a blog about this campaign and talk about the quality and the fact that the products are organic. This is quite important to many of my followers. Through social media, I will link a acebookF post to the article and ensure that the website is clickable from here too. I will also upload some cool outfit images on Instagram (where I add the link to my bio).

The Instagram Star

I have a blog & the usual social media channels but I am truly passionate about Instagram. I am also crazy busy at the moment so whilst I like this campaign, I won’t have time to write a blog post.

I will, however, use Instagram for this because it is quite easy to create awareness through it and does not require much of my time to create content. I will start off by taking some cool screen shots of my browsing. I will also take a boomerang and a video for Instagram stories. I will add the link in my Bio and keep it there for the duration of the campaign. Every other day, I shall post a photo or a boomerang or an Instagram story (of my browsing) or use one of the images the brand sent me. Each time I post, I will refer to the link in bio. My overall content plan comment is to highlight the variety in choosing some cool clothes for the kids & the different sizes available to me.

The Youtuber

I publish a daily Youtube video. Through the video I highlight any of my activities. For this campaign

For this campaign, I will most definitely show myself scrolling through the website and add it to my daily vlog. In the comment section, I will add the URL.

Once I finish a Vlog I will also share this on Facebook & Instagram. Links are added here as per usual.

The content plan around this would be mentioning the organic aspect and also the variety of choice which is quite important.
